FAQ

Frequently asked questions

We’re based in Arizona which usually aligns with PST, but we cater to individuals all over the world.  There’s quite a bit of wiggle room.

It’s a 90 minute, intensive coaching session on VOXER (not video) designed to help ADHDers, AuDHDers and Autistics untangle challenges, gain clarity, and create an actionable plan without committing to long-term coaching.  It’s a “one-off” you can use anyway you want on its own or as a stepping stone to additional coaching.    You get a greater feel for my other work during your Power Hour  than with a Discovery Call.  I’ve been providing strategy and problem-solving work for over 20 years.  I’m confident it will be well worth your investment.

For the month of  June, I am beta testing an additional 30 minutes a few hours after your Power Hour to “wrap up” what you have learned as you practice the action plan from the Power Hour in the hours in between. One key premise of my services is to allow time for integration and processing as I assist with implementation.  There are many ways to learn, but it is invaluable to do so with the power of co-regulation and support.

It’s perfect for adults with ADHD (or ADHD-like struggles) who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or indecisive and need fast, focused guidance to move forward.

The  ADHD Power Hour is designed for adults who need clarity, structure, and an actionable plan without the overwhelm of long-term coaching. Those who might benefit include:

Professionals struggling with focus—executives, entrepreneurs, or employees navigating workplace challenges.

Students or academics
—those overwhelmed by deadlines, organization, and managing time effectively.

Creatives & freelancers—artists, writers, and independent workers seeking structure and follow-through.

Parents juggling ADHD & family life—either managing their own symptoms or supporting neurodivergent children.  It is particularly useful for those trying to navigate complex (and often unhelpful) provider services especially when they are non-responsive, uninformed regarding Autism/ADHD or reinforce stereotypes and deficits.

Individuals facing life transitions—job changes, major decisions, or personal growth obstacles.

Anyone feeling stuck—those experiencing decision fatigue, mental clutter, or paralysis in their next steps.

This session might not be ideal for individuals who:

Need deep, ongoing therapeutic support—It’s not a replacement for therapy or long-term coaching. Those facing severe emotional distress, trauma, or complex mental health challenges may benefit more from licensed therapy.

Require extensive follow-up
—While this session provides a strong starting point, individuals seeking structured, ongoing support for ADHD management may need longer-term coaching.

Prefer traditional or slow-paced coaching
—This session is fast, intensive, and strategic, which may not suit those who prefer a gradual, reflective approach to problem-solving.

Aren’t ready to take action
—If someone is not in a place to implement solutions or needs time to process change, a slower-paced program might be more effective.

Expect a one-size-fits-all method—The session is highly individualized, meaning there’s no rigid formula—those looking for a standardized coaching blueprint may prefer structured courses or multi-session programs.

Yes, but read on.  I receive many requests from parents of AuDHD/ADHD kids, usually at the end of their rope and often on AHCCCS with limited funds.

Here’s the thing, (amongst many things), it’s important to understand my approach which often runs counter to conventional therapy and ADHD coaching which is why I offer the services I provide.

Nothing whack-a-doodle or “out there.”  Whatever I do, it’s within the realm of accountability.

I lean towards the somatic, while at the same time I am in strong disagreement with many coaching and therapy approaches that tend to be by rote, not very individualized, surface level, and most importantly, not terribly effective, while also being quite pathologizing.  By “quite,” I mean very much so.  And in lots of subtle ways.  I actively resist these deficit-based approaches.  They creep up everywhere in many different interventions.  Many prospective clients have internalized them and don’t realize how much they have become exposed to the toxicity of medicalized well-being.

This includes acting as though a child in a family is “the problem” and that a series of 60 minute sessions will *fix* them.

Even presuming a child does wonderfully well in any coaching/treatment setting, they still must return to the collective environment and if that is not supportive for AuDHDers and the like, no individual session work will really take.

So, I work with teens if you show up.  Let’s get everyone on board with a plan.  And at least start with the ADHD Power Hour session.  For some, that’s all the family needs for a huge jumpstart forward.

All of this presumes the tenets of coaching that each participant is able to receive the information “as is” and implement without excessive modification as a result of comorbidities, learning disorders, or accommodation for non-verbal processing.

Whittling everything down to activate core gems of AuDHD-based wisdom can put disruption on hold, gain vision, and restore hope.

All for $150.  Not bad, eh?

Yes, but read on.  Families can be a little trickier to adapt to the power hour depending on the number of parties and interests.   It may require an additional fee depending on the complexity of the situation and number of participants.  The family can complete the intake together with one representative recording.

If you are in Arizona, meeting in person may be an option we can discuss.

Overall, this is an ideal situation to create the ecosystem of support from which all family members benefit.

Again, it’s important to know up front my approach which is very somatic oriented while also being solution-focused.  The emphasis is always on regulating to sustain connection.

The end goals is to get everyone on board with an action plan

A word about mediation. This is a little different from coaching in that the Action Plan aims to resolve a conflict communicate, identify common interests, and negotiate a mutually agreeable solution.  If I am in a role as mediator, which needs to be discussed ahead of time in a consultation, I will be less involved in making recommendations or coaching.  The focus is on the conflict, not on personal development skills.

We understand that life happens, please provide at least 48 hours notice and in any event, reschedule.  There are however no refunds and we ask that you use your time within six weeks of purchase.

We appreciate your understanding and commitment to this generous and unique offer.

This session is designed as a quick reset—a powerful standalone session to clear confusion and get actionable next steps. While ongoing coaching can provide long-term accountability, this session delivers more immediate clarity and relief in just one hour.

You can book a session online using any of the buttons on this page that prompt you to do so and check availability. Once scheduled, you’ll be prompted for payment and receive confirmation and any pre-session details regarding the intake form and your contract.

Sessions are held via Voxer a walkie-talkie app that you can download, so you can access support from anywhere.   It offers flexibility so you are not clued to the phone.

And it’s available for both mobile and desktop.  There is a Pro version that allows you go keep your recordings longer, but everything we need is in the free version.

If you don’t have a Voxer account, you’ll create one – it’s free.  You can CLICK HERE to do so.

When you open an account, we will add each other on Voxer.

We’ll start by identifying key challenges, untangling mental clutter, and then building a strategic, customized action plan to help you move forward with confidence.

No prep is required, but you’re welcome to bring a list of challenges or concerns to focus on.

Many people find that one session provides powerful clarity and can be quite soothing as anxiety diminishes, but if you need additional support, ongoing coaching is an option.  I also offer half-day sessions, full days, regular 60 min sessions via zoom and a 12 week mentorship.

Just send me a message using the chat box at the bottom right corner of this page or my contact form and I’ll get back to you.  You may also text me.
